The Journey Begins

I'm a freelance wordsmith and creative mind with an eclectic array of interests and creations. I write stuff from haiku & poetry to non-fiction articles to novel works in progress. I create kaleidoscopic and tessellated designs, like the many images you will find on my Flickr page under the user "Crystal Writer," and I enjoy both taking photographs and creative editing of photos. I'm often torn between my many creative drives. Should I write? Should I take pictures? Should I create a digital kaleidoscope, fractal or tessellation? I'm a huge dreamer, and it is often hard for me to keep my feet headed in a single direction. I enjoy helping other writers, and in that direction, accepted the position of president for a local writing group called Louisville Christian Writers (http://www.lcwriters.com). I do all web and Facebook design and updates for the group, and I'll know I'm successful when I keep those updates flowing and on time. From this site, you can find my old "Yahoo 360" blog about NaNoWriMo, link to my Facebook author page, view my recent Flickr uploads, and follow my Twitter feed to see what has grabbed my attention for the moment.
